Getting there

The are direct buses to Curacautín from Puerto Montt and Santiago with many stop in between. From Curacautín there are also buses to Lonquimay village, get off before at km 83, four kms before Malacahuello at Suizandina (see below).

Accommodation

La Suizandina a guesthouse with doubles and dorms, will be able to advise of ascents of the Volcanoes.

The Route

From the base of the ski tows just head up the undefined S.W ridge to the summit.

Also consider doing Volcano Tolhuaca.
