Getting there

From Osorno head east on route '215' for about 75 km's then turn off following the signs for the Antillanca Ski Centre. The ski centre is about 18 km's on a good gravel road from the main road.

The Route

From the Ski Centre on paying a CL$ 2500 fee you can drive up the access track of the ski centre for 3 km's to the Raihuen crater where you can park. From here you can see the summit. Cross to the left hand side of the flat bottomed Raihuen crater and pick up the path just to the right of the small gorge on the north side. Ascend to the rim of the cartor and head to the broad north west ridge of Volcano Casablanca, once you start ascending on the loose volcanic scree you should find a well trodden route that leads to the metal box on the summit. Return via the same route.
